Capture spectacular sunsets over the water at Back Creek
Bird skimming across the water, brilliant colours bouncing off the surface, patterns and puddles in the sand at low tide, the silhouette of the foot bridge across the creek are a few of the highlights of Back Creek.
Sparkling water and paddle boarders
High tide at back creek when the water is turqoise is spectacular. Snorkelling reveals an aquarium of brilliant colourful fish on the incoming tide. Shortly after the tide turns out the water visability declines. Be aware of sharp oysters when entering and exiting the water.
White breasted sea eagles and whistling kites.
Many birds can be seen along the shoreline and in the waterways at South West Rocks. Eagrets, pelican, ibis, sea gull, masked plover and sooty oyster catchers.
